Zwolle – Kleine groepsworkshop handpan voor beginners

Ontdek de magie van de handpan in een kleinschalige workshop waarin muziek, ritme en ontspanning samenkomen. Sommige mensen vinden een groep van tien net wat te groot. Daarom bieden we deze workshop ook in klein gezelschap aan: meer aandacht van de docent, meer focus en meer rust. Verder leer je precies hetzelfde als in onze reguliere workshop — alleen in een intiemere setting. Speciaal ontworpen voor mensen die nieuwsgierig zijn naar dit bijzondere instrument, ook als je nog nooit muziek hebt gespeeld.

We starten de workshop met een moment van stilte en afstemming, waarna je stap voor stap wordt meegenomen in de wereld van de handpan. Je leert:
-Hoe de handpan is opgebouwd en klinkt
-De basis van ritme, harmonie en dissonantie
-Eenvoudige akkoordprogressies en speeltechnieken
-Speelpatronen en een eerste groove
-Samen muziek maken in een drumming circle

Je hoeft niets mee te nemen — alle instrumenten zijn aanwezig. De workshop is laagdrempelig, ontspannen en geeft ruimte voor persoonlijke beleving.

En wie weet… is dit het begin van jouw eigen handpan-reis.

Je krijgt tevens praktische tips mee voor het kiezen van je eerste handpan – en misschien begint hier jouw eigen handpan-reis! Na afloop van de workshop ontvang je de oefeningen in een hand-out en kun je de video’s nog eens rustig nakijken.

Discover the magic of the handpan in a small-scale workshop where music, rhythm and relaxation come together. Some people find a group of ten a little too big. That’s why we also offer this workshop in a small setting: more attention from the teacher, more focus and more calm. You’ll learn exactly the same as in our regular workshop — just in a more intimate setting. Specially designed for people who are curious about this unique instrument, even if you’ve never played music before.

We’ll begin the workshop with a moment of stillness and attunement, after which you’ll be guided step by step into the world of the handpan. You’ll learn:
-How the handpan is built and how it sounds

-Simple chord progressions and playing techniques
-Playing patterns and a first groove
-Making music together in a drumming circle

You don’t need to bring anything — all instruments are provided. The workshop is accessible, relaxed and leaves room for personal experience.

And who knows… this might be the beginning of your very own handpan journey.

You’ll also receive practical tips for choosing your first handpan — and perhaps this is where your own handpan journey begins! After the workshop you’ll receive the exercises in a handout and can revisit the videos at your leisure.
